Responsible for Ultium Cells LLC as president, Kee has 20 years of experience with LG Chem in a variety of leadership positions, including: Marketing in North America, Planning, and Finance. As a Program Manager, he successfully established the LG Chem Michigan, Inc. plant in Holland. Kee earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Policy and Planning and a Master of Science in Social Economics, both from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations management, Tom has 32 years of work experience at GM with 25 years in Manufacturing Operations. He has led Manufacturing Sites as Plant Director at four different North American manufacturing locations and served as Propulsion System Process Leader. Tom is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Management. Tom and his wife have three children.

Responsible for battery products and manufacturing technology. Hyunkyu has 20 years of experience in battery manufacturing and process technology at LGEnsol. He has worked in Ochang Korea, Nanjing China, and Wroclaw Poland, stabilized new plants and improved battery manufacturing process and productivity. He is a graduate of Seoul National University in Korea with a degree in chemical engineering.

Responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes of the Lansing Ultium Cells battery plant, Seho brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the manufacturing industry. During 27 of those years, Seho specialized in developing control, measurement, and inspection systems within the steel production process, serving as both a researcher and manager. Additionally, he spent 3 years leading the smart factory planning and technology development department at the same company. Since 2022, Seho has been leading the Smart Factory department at LG Energy Solution, and in October 2023, he was appointed as the Regional Director of UC3 representative for LG Energy Solution.

Responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations leadership of the Ohio Ultium Cells Battery Plant. Kareem has 20 years of experience at GM and has served in multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility in vehicle, stamping, and propulsion operations and manufacturing engineering. Kareem is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a graduate of Kettering University with a Masters in Lean Manufacturing. Kareem and his wife Kyra have been married for four years.

Responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations leadership of the Tennessee Ultium Cells battery plant. Chris has worked at GM for 26 years and has served in multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility in manufacturing operation and manufacturing engineering including a recent global assignment in Korea. Chris is a graduate of Michigan Technological University with a degree in Environmental Engineering and a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing. Chris and his wife have three children.

Responsible for the Electrode Department of Ohio Ultium Cells battery plant, Seungmo has over 15 years of experience in battery electrode production. He has work experience from his time in Ochang Korea, and his later contribution to the improvement and stabilization of production in Nanjing China known as one of the top battery cell factories in the world. He is a graduate of Korea University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsible for electrode manufacturing technology of the Tennessee Ultium Cells battery plant, Hyoseok has 26 years of experience in battery development and process technology. He had worked on cell development for GM vehicles for 10 years, such as developing a battery cell for GM’s EREV Volt at LG Energy Solution. Since then, he has worked in Ochang Korea, Nanjing China and Ultium Cells, stabilized new plants and improved electrode manufacturing process. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a Master of Solid Chemistry, both from Seoul National University in Korea. During that period, he published 7 SCE papers on lithium-ion battery cathode material.

Responsible for cell manufacturing technology of the Tennessee Ultium Cells battery plant, Jaewon has 9 years of experience in battery manufacturing and process technology at LGEnsol, 14 years of experience engineering at LG Display. He has worked in Ochang Korea, Wroclaw Poland, stabilized new plants and improved battery manufacturing process and productivity. He is a graduate of Yeungnam University in Korea with a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering.

Responsible for all Human Resource functions, Kelly is new to GM but has 24 years of HR work experience at major manufacturing companies including two Korean own companies, Hyundai and Hankook AtlasBX. Kelly is a proud Air Force veteran. Kelly's educational background consists of a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a MBA from Colorado State University. Kelly and his wife have one daughter.

Responsible for all Purchasing and Supply Chain functions, Srini has 21 years of experience at GM in various roles of increasing responsibility in Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Supply Chain IT. Srini is a graduate of Andhra University in India with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Masters in Industrial Engineering and a graduate of Indiana University with an MBA. Srini and his wife have two boys.
